Laser-based Sensing and Tracking for Dynamic Measurements
The object of this project is to establish a unique research facility in laser-based sensing and tracking for dynamic measurements. The facility has been successfully developed. It consists of laser-interferometry-based sensors, tracking assembly, high precision platforms for stationary and field use, advanced software utilities, calibration retroreflectors, etc. The capability of the facility is unique for laser-inetrferometry and tracking providing a nominal tracking speed of 6 m/s. The accuracy of laser-based sensing and dynamic measurements can reach up to 0.05 micrometers (50nm).
