Elham Tolouei

Originally from Iran, Elham Tolouei is studying bioengineering at Monash. She an international student has had to adjust to a new lifestyle, culture and language. But Elham is enjoying the challenge and believes her research into platelet functions and its relationship with mechanical forces inside the blood vessels, could one day save lives.

Elham has found the postgraduate office of Monash extremely comfortable and is impressed with the new laboratory equipment. After graduating, Elham would like to continue researching.

“I love engineering. I chose engineering because I think it helps people to think deeply and find the best solution among all possibilities. Engineering inherently forces people to think broader and find the best solution”.
