Aerial internship sets students on flight path to success

Keen Monash University Aerospace Engineering students Aaron Joseph Corera and Nhan Walsh have just completed an internship at XM2, an aerial media company. The pair spent most of their time over summer working on aircraft components and helping out with film shoots at locations around the state.

2016 QS World University Rankings by Subject released

Following the release of this year's QS World University Rankings by Subject, Monash University features among the world's elite institutions in 37 of the 42 subjects featured.

Revolutionary graphene filter could solve water crisis

A new type of graphene-based filter could be the key to managing the global water crisis, a study has revealed. The new graphene filter, which has been developed by Monash University & University of Kentucky, allows water and other liquids to be filtered nine times faster than the current leading commercial filter.

Monash scientists win microscopy research awards

Our researchers have been recognised for excellence in research in electron microscopy, taking out both of the awards for research in the physical sciences awarded biennially by the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Society.
