  • Preparation of undergraduate Lab Class timetables
  • Specimen preparation for Lab Classes
  • Etching with HF acid etchants
  • Preparation of chemical solutions and etchants. (Please allow 48hours)
  • Service and maintenance of laboratory and research equipment. (Report all damage/malfunction directly)
  • Ordering of lab equipment, consumables and chemicals
  • Chemical waste disposal
  • Advisory service on metallography and heat treatment procedures (Please allow 48 hours)
  • Responsible for completion of necessary Risk Assessment (RA's), updating of Safety Works Instructions (SW) and Materials Safety Data sheets for all laboratory classes and Heat Treatment, Metallography, HF Lab and Prep Room Building 37.
