Undergraduate Scholarships
A number of scholarship and research work opportunities are available within the Department of Materials Engineering, including:
- CRC for Polymers SPUR scheme, which offers suitable students the opportunity to do paid part time research work in a polymer research team within the school whilst pursuing their studies and during vacations.
- BlueScope Steel. As a Materials Engineering Scholarship holder you will gain valuable practical experience whilst working as part of a team on real industrial problems in the manufacturing and technology areas.
UNDERGRADUATE VACATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Summer Vacation Scholarships are generally available in the Department, from November to February which carry a tax free stipend of approx. $300/400 per week. These will be advertised individually, on noticeboards and on the Materials Engineering website, as they become available.
