The Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with other Monash faculties, provides a range of double degrees which give students an opportunity develop their skills in two distinct areas and gain two formal qualifications at undergraduate level.
Double-degree students find they can apply, for example, analysis skills and problem solving techniques learnt in one degree to their other degree. This gives them a considerable advantage over single-honours students, making them extremely employable.
For more information about the course structures of the above undergraduate programs, please see Course maps.
In addition to the following degrees, students interested in electronics and robotics may also consider the Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering. The degree, which is managed by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, covers both mechanical and electrical engineering subjects.
More information on Mechatronics Engineering can be found on the Mechatronics Engineering course.
