Single unit enrolment
Single units are units, which are taken in addition to, or separate from, the courses offered by engineering. The majority of units offered by engineering may be taken as single unit, as long as the prerequisite requirements have been met. Single units are only available on a full-fee-paying basis and fees are normally based on a pro rata of the course fee.Students enrolled in one of the faculty's courses and who wish to take units over and above the degree requirements may, with permission from the faculty, do so on a single-unit basis. In units where there is a quota, single-unit enrolment will only be possible if the quota has not been filled.
Application for single-unit enrolment should be made direct to the Faculty of Engineering office.
