Re-enrolment for 2012

As a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidate you are required to re-enrol on-line via WES for 2012 if you:
  • will be continuing a program of study in 2012,
  • are currently on intermission but will return to study in 2012, or
  • will not be submitting a thesis before 22 December 2011
If you have any concerns about re-enrolment, PhD candidates should contact the Monash Research Graduate School (MRGS). Masters candidates should contact the Research office, Room 214, Building 72, Clayton Campus or email: Research.student@eng.monash.edu.au.

Current Engineering Research students need to re-enrol between Monday 10 October to Monday 21 November 2011.

Annual questionnaire

From 2010, the paper based Annual Progress Report is replaced by a mandatory online Annual Questionnaire. The questionnaire will be on-line and not a manual form. Candidates will be required to complete the questionnaire before they can re-enrol for 2012. When candidates log on to the WES system to re-enrol, they will be prompted to complete the Annual Questionnaire. Once completed, they will then be prompted to return to the WES system and complete re-enrolment.

Candidates will be notified by email with a link to the WES Enrolment System to gain access to the questionnaire form. Completion of the questionnaire by the candidate is compulsory for all who are currently enrolled in a research program and is a pre-requisite for candidature re-enrolment in the following year.

The questionnaire provides opportunity for a candidate to:
  1. review and report on the means by which the candidate meets the conditions of their candidature; and
  2. to identify and address any issues that may be affecting the candidature.
