UROP benefits

• a chance to engage in and understand the process and impact of cutting-edge research in a laboratory in an internationally renowned Engineering Faculty and a chance to make a difference;

In addition, you will participate in the UROP Induction Program; a seminar series on research topics such as research methodology, critical analysis; other research seminars in the Faculty; and associated social programs. Opportunities will also be provided to UROP participants to attend conferences to present papers/posters etc.

There will be excitement in discovery and disappointments in failures in the foray into UROP; but most importantly, there will be a gradual learning that these are all part in the life of a researcher.
