UROP 2009
Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), as the name implies, provides undergraduate students an early opportunity to experience real life in an engineering research environment, working either with a supervisor and/or a research group. This is an opportunity that may otherwise not be available to students unless the student were undertaking the Final Year Project or embarking upon postgraduate research studies.
UROP provides Research Training:-Through participation in the program, students will acquire knowledge and numerous skills which will allow them to confidently progress to more independent research tasks.
UROP participants have the edge when applying for a Summer Research Program Scholarship and are more confident and effective when completing their HDR (Higher degree by Research).
