Intermission
If you want to take intermission from your studies you can apply via WES or lodge an application for intermission. If you are only taking intermission for one semester you must re-enrol for the other semester. If you are currently on intermission you must re-enrol for the following year during the official re-enrolment period. Any semester(s) granted as intermission are counted as part of the total time limit for your course eg if you commenced a four-year Bachelor of Engineering in 2009, you must complete the program by the end of 2016. If you take a one-year period of intermission you will still be expected to complete your program by the end of 2016. A maximum of one year intermission is normally granted.
