Cancellation of units
Where the Faculty of Engineering finds it cannot teach an advertised unit because of a low level of enrolments, or unforeseeable circumstances
such as the death, serious illness or unavailability of a staff member or members needed to teach it, it will cancel the unit or units concerned.
If an advertised unit is cancelled, students enrolled in that unit will be given written notice in the form of an email sent to their student
email account. Students will normally be given 1 weeks notice of such cancellation. Students will be advised in the written notice to enrol
in an alternative unit and will be given the name of the appropriate staff member from whom they can seek course advice.
