Please note: All students intending to pursue a Ph.D. degree in the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University will enrol as a Master of Engineering Science student for an initial twelve month probation period. Prior to completing the probationary period, the candidate will provide a written report on their research activities, which will be presented at a departmental seminar followed by an oral examination. If the examiners consider the progress made by the student is satisfactory, the student’s candidature will be converted to a Ph.D. with the previous twelve months calculated towards the total three year Ph.D. study period.

Send the application form to Lilyanne Price, along with the following:

• Curriculum vitae
• Copies of recent publications (if any)
• Certified copies of your academic transcript of results
• Copies of any awarded certificates/prizes/scholarships
• A copy of your passport with photo (this page only)
• Any other relevant information you feel would enhance your application.

Please do not send primary or high school results.

The Department will need names of two (2) referees to provide a written report regarding your research, study and work abilities. Please include their fax number, email address, and telephone number on your Curriculum Vitae so the Department can contact them.
